I see myself as a creator driven by curiosity and the need to make. I constantly absorb images, ideas, and references from different places — from cinema, music, fashion, or even everyday browsing — and what stays with me is what surprises me, what feels unexpected, or slightly off. Those impressions naturally find their way into my work.

I graduated in Creation and Design from EHU, with additional studies at the University of Barcelona. My practice is deeply rooted in the visual, working through image, drawing, and the graphic construction of ideas. I often begin with sketches, visual experiments, and compositions that allow me to think and develop concepts in a direct and intuitive way from the very beginning.

My interests are wide and intuitive, often moving between disciplines. I find inspiration in places like browsing Vinted in search of clothing for myself, in album covers, or in films — situations where visual decisions feel honest and unforced. I’m particularly drawn to the way clothing can function as a form of expression through color, shape, and texture, and I approach visual work in a similar way. References such as the visual language of Puma, the quiet and refined aesthetic of Paloma Wool, or the idea behind “la arruga es bella” by Adolfo Domínguez resonate with my way of thinking.

I have a strong foundation in composition, color, form, and visual language, shaped by my early training in drawing and painting. I’m especially interested in working with image, repetition, shapes, typography, and the relationships between graphic elements, always aiming to create proposals with character, coherence, and a clear visual identity.

There is often a certain rawness in my work — an openness to imperfection, to visible process, and to decisions that feel intentional rather than overly polished. I’m interested in things that feel slightly unusual or unexpected, where character and originality emerge naturally.

More recently, I expanded this path through a scholarship in New York, where I worked at an art studio specialized in calligraphy and illuminated manuscripts. This experience allowed me to understand how a high-level artisanal studio operates from within, while also bringing me closer to craft-based practices. There, I developed skills in dip-pen calligraphy and gained a deeper appreciation for precision, rhythm, and detail. Being immersed in a city like New York further enriched this experience and continues to influence my work.
